Kuroshio is Closed Christmas Day

Kuroshio will be closed on Christmas Day, Sunday December 25th. We want to wish everybody a happy and safe Merry Christmas! We will be open our normal hours on Monday December 26th and we hope to see you again in 2011! Kuroshio will also be open all day, January 1st 2011, New Years Day!

Kuroshio will be closing an hour earlier this Saturday, December 17th at 10pm for our Employee Christmas Party. The holidays season reminds us how fortunate we are to have each other and all of you in our lives, and we hope to see all of you during these holidays to wish you and your families the best!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody, we are thankful to be serving you the freshest sushi and best food everyday for the past three years and for many more to come. We'll be closed on Thursday, November 24th but will be open our normal hours 11:30am to 11:00pm Friday, November 25th! Also, come in next week Monday through Friday and get 20% off between 3pm and 5pm, or purchase a gift card and get a bonus 20% added on from us! Thanks everyone for being our best friends and customers, we hope everyone has a great week!

We've got a very special Sake Tasting event planned for tomorrow night, Wednesday, April 27th! Sake Master Koji will be bringing with him special guests from Japan, Mr. Kurita of Kizakura Brewery and another sommelier from NYC, Ms Nicole! They'll all be presenting to you things about Sake you never knew or tasted! $5 per person, starts at 7pm!

April Sake Tasting

Koji, Certified Sake Master, will be at Kuroshio on Wednesday, April 27th from 7:00pm to 8pm for a Sake Tasting Event. Koji and his family have the unique experience of being in the rice wine industry for many generations, and he will be sharing his stories and selection of premium sakes with us at Kuroshio. Participants will have the opportunity to sample the premium sakes presented in the Sake Tasting as well as learning about the process of fermenting sake, and much more. There is a cover fee of $5 for this event, which includes UNLIMITED premium sake samplings (while quantities last).

Jazz on the Patio - Every Thursday in April

We're bringing back Live Jazz on the Patio to compliment the beautiful Spring evenings at Kuroshio! Mike Marinelli is back with an expended repertoire with a new instrument, an electronic wind synthesizer, which can play over a hundred different instruments! Mike will be entertaining everyone every Thursday in April from 6pm to 9pm live on the patio, or indoors if there is incliment weather! As always, speakers will also be set up inside so everyone enjoys the ambiance and smooth sounds of Mr. Marinelli starting April 7th.

Some of your Favorite Sushi Rolls of 2010

We added 7 new sushi rolls to our menu one year ago, and they're quickly becoming your all-time favorites!


Try Kuroshio's New "Cha Cha Cha Roll" with crispy avocado rolled then topped with baked spicy scallop and scallion. (please allow for longer prep time)


The New "Dragon Roll" isn't a fairy tale... lobster tail tempura and crab mix wrapped in Japanese soy paper topped with baked spicy scallop and scallions... mmM..Mmm!


Inspired by our Jazz nights and fans, we're proud to introduce our New "Jazz Roll", a delicious tuna symphony! Spicy tuna w/crunchies topped w/super white, extra tuna & masago.


A fresh tasting new roll, including chopped yellowtail w/scallion, crunchies, topped w/super white and avocado, we named this cool one our new "Hip Hop Roll"


Shrimp tempura with cream cheese topped with unagi and avocado is our recipy to the new "Funky Roll"


A fun roll that grabs you by the arms to dance the night away, our new "Salsa Roll" has crab mix, red onion, shrimp tempura, and spicy aioli and crunchies rolled in soy paper!


And last but not least, we ran out of names when we got to this delicious treat, but don't underestimate the delightful flavors of crab mix and shrimp tempura, topped with unagi, smoked salmon and avocado with eel sauce in our new "No Name Roll"
