Come celebrate the end of the 2008 year with great friends and great sushi. We'll be open late on Wednesday night serving our full menu and Wednesday drink specials including $1.50 Miller Light draft and $2.00 glasses of house wine, with an ADDITIONAL $1 Champagne Glass drink special ALL DAY! We're also planning on ending this great year with live music provided by Jazz Matrix at 8pm! No cover fee.
The Jazz Matrix is a versatile jazz group that can be a duo or a full 5 or 6 piece jazz ensemble. As a duo, The Jazz Matrix features Mike Marinelli on saxophone and Don Decenza on Keyboard and Vocals. With the addition of a drum machine programmed specifically for this repertoire, The Jazz Martrix sounds like a 3 or 4 piece ensemble.
The repertoire consists of mostly Smooth Jazz with many other varieties of Jazz i.e. Jazz Funk, Jazz Standards, and Latin Jazz. The Jazz Matrix was started in 2007 and has worked mostly at restuarants, lounges, and parties.

Last Thursday we brought in the local Funk/Jazz band, S.W.A.G. (Soul, Will and Grace) who rocked the house with their musical show. This Thursday, June 26th and next Thursday, July 3rd, S.W.A.G. will be back again to entertain Kuroshio and friends! We hope to see you here for our Live Band Nights!!
As an additional spin off, we will be hosting an open mic/acoustic night in July where you're invited to come in and sing and play some songs on your guitar. In the past, we would only bring in Madai on special occasions or when customers made special requests for it. However now, Kuroshio is now proud to serve Fresh Madai (also known as Red Snapper or Tai) daily. Limited quantities are available. It is best served as Sashimi or Nigiri sushi with ponzu sauce. Come in and taste what makes this wild fish so highly talked about!
*We never substitute our Madai with tilapia. If Madai is on our menu and available, it will be nothing less than fresh Madai.

NEW Kuroshio Sushi Club

We'd like to introduce to you to our new service called the Kuroshio Sushi Club!
The club will primarily be a mailing list of sushi fanatics who love the fresh specialty
fish we import, and will be notified when the next fresh shipment arrives. For starters,
we'd like to know if you are a fan of Red Snapper or Uni (Sea Urchin). Members of the Sushi Club
will receive an email with updates on when these and other exotic fish arrive for your best sushi
experience possible!
Industry Night, Anime Night, Comedy Night

Kuroshio is trying to jazz up the nights in Kennesaw. We've brought in live music and DJ's in the past,
UFC fights and Halloween parties. Next on our list, we are working on an Industry Night, where we stay open
late one week night a week for our friends who work late. Stay tuned and watch for our emails and website
updates to find out when Industry Nights will start.
We've also received requests from customers to have Anime Nights where we'll play Anime on our big screen
TV's. We are working on setting dates and media selection, so stay tuned for Anime Nights in April!
Comedy Night at Kuroshio was postponed in March, but we are still working on bringing it to you this Spring!
Please send us an email to kuroshiokennesaw@gmail.com to let us know if you're interested in stage time for an
open-mic format Comedy Night. It can be as simple as a few jokes to a few minute routine that will make your
friends laugh (either with you or at you! j/k). Also, we won't put this show on without a professional local
comedian or two, so you won't be disappointed!
We'd love to hear your feedback about our events, let us know if you'd like to see more live bands,
or if comedy night tickles your fancy.

stood out amongst the rest, Brian Haklin's Special T Roll. The Special T Roll is rolled using thinly cut cucumber and includes Maguro (Blue fin tuna),
